… What if you Fly?

A couple of weeks ago, I had this little voice in my head from one to four am in the morning saying …. Oh my darling, what if you fly? I got up exhausted the next day and realized that I couldn’t silence that voice anymore, I had to make a change.

You see, there are times in our lives when we hit a crossroad and we are forced to take a path, you can take the path less travelled (as cliché as it might sound) or you can take the easy path. In my case, it had been 5 years since I faced that decision and I took the easy path and continued doing what I knew I could do. I knew I could do it well, and although my heart and soul wasn’t into it, I knew I was an accomplished professional that is disciplined enough to succeed in the business world.

Fast forward 5 years and I hit another crossroad at the end of last year, but this time I decided to take some time to think and re-evaluate my path. It has taken me six months of work on my health, spirituality and self-development to make the decision to take the path less travelled.

Since we moved back to Canada in 2013 I started thinking about re-inventing myself but I gave in to fears and beliefs that held me back even though I had the little voice in my head saying… what if you fly? So I am making a firm commitment to overcome my fears to create the life I want for myself.

I learned today that beliefs create thoughts, thoughts create feelings, feelings create behaviours/habits and behaviours/habits create results. Therefore, now I am actively investing in my overall health, physical, mental and spiritual as I firmly believe that health is the doorway to transformation and the 1st step in creating the life I want.
